Madeira Weather and ClimateWe are often asked about the weather and climate at different times of year in Madeira, and it might make a difference as to when you travel. The warm, although never steaming hot months are June to October when temperatures reach the mid 70s, while the cooler months are December to April when the maximum temperatures average around 60F. There is no real rainy season - you might get the odd shower between October and March but otherwise even in the winter months you'll get 5-6 hours of sunshine per day. In summary, Madeira is never blazing hot, and is quite dry in summer. In our winter it can be very pleasant during the day, but you;ll need a jacket for the evenings.
